A bundle of six shiny balloons floats seemingly weightlessly above the entrance to the new daycare center "An der Bruchspitze". Made of polished stainless steel, they reflect the sky, light and life and welcome children, parents and guests from afar. In vibrant colors, they mark the east façade - visible as far as the Peter Jordan School - and combine playful lightness with a strong symbolism of new beginnings, growth and community.

Each balloon has its own color, symbolizing the six daycare groups: Diversity and individuality, united in a strong knot. The fine struts unfold from this knot to form the balloons, which are firmly anchored despite their lightness. The result is an image of secure roots and a common striving upwards - supported by cohesion and imagination.

In everyday life, the sculpture becomes part of the children's identity: "We are the yellow group!" - Colors, counting, stories and reflections invite you to marvel. The work provides orientation and a sense of belonging, opens up perspectives and shapes memories. Between play and symbol, it grows into the hearts of the children.

The shiny surfaces pick up on the sky, trees and light, contrasting with the clear wooden architecture and transforming depending on the time of day: radiant in the morning, lively at midday, softly glowing in the evening. This creates a dialog between nature and architecture, movement and stability, wood and metal.

Technically robust, weatherproof and low-maintenance, the installation remains permanently reliable. Stainless steel with a colored UV-resistant coating, a support firmly anchored in the foundation and precise load distribution ensure stability and flexibility at the same time. The ensemble can even be relocated in the event of structural changes - the art grows with the daycare center.
