A reflective stainless steel ball, placed on the school grounds, seems to roll down the slope of the meadow. Two people brace themselves together and try to hold the ball. This interaction illustrates that true strength lies in community.

The round shape of the sculpture creates a deliberate contrast to the clear lines of the architecture. The diagonal sheet metal patterns of the curtain wall are reflected in the sphere and find a sculptural counterpart in it. This creates a direct relationship between the artwork and the architecture.

As you approach the sculpture, you become part of the action: the reflection draws the viewer in and combines people, artwork and building into a single unit. The sphere impressively symbolizes the power of collaboration and the fusion of art and architecture.
